Dan’s focus is strategy and business planning in people-based customer engagement businesses. He believes that the future of media analysis, whether social, online news or traditional, is about real-time, portal (mobile and internet) and insight sharing. Understanding and keeping pace with technologies that facilitate this is key, but that means an intelligent human interface is critical.
Dan started his career with LEK Consulting in strategy development, gaining broad experience in a number of dynamic situations. Dan also co-founded SMT Consulting in 1999 and was responsible for developing the firm’s client base, designing and managing the operating model and specialising in multi-channel performance best practices and marketing ROI. He is also currently a partner of Beaumont Capital LLP.
Dan has a First in Engineering Maths from Bristol University where he also won the Ford Motor Company prize for outstanding academic achievement.
