What makes Media Measurement's evaluation different?

Media Measurement's unique methodology gives you the power to understand not just the messages you are promoting through your PR activities, but also those of your competitors, stakeholders and, crucially, the media's agenda.

Why doesn't Media Measurement measure the tone of an item?

Media Measurement believes measuring the tone of an item doesn't reflect the true value of the coverage. An item may span several pages and contain many different messages, each of which is rated on its tone. For example a piece on a supermarket may start off talking very negatively about the service it provides, but very positively about its share price. Whereas traditional measurement might argue this is a balanced or neutral item we ascribe a tone to each message so you can understand, in detail, the average reader’s perception and prove the quality of the coverage you are achieving.

Does Media Measurement provide AVEs (Advertising Equivalents)?

Whilst we can provide AVEs we do not recommend them as an effective way of measuring your coverage - especially with the drastically declining advertising rates! Opportunities to See (OTS) is seen as a credible alternative.

What will I receive from Media Measurement?

Media Measurement provides a wide range of reporting options from simple one-page report cards aimed at board level to in-depth reports detailing every element of your media performance. More and more clients are also turning to our online portal (MMLInsight) for real-time research queries.

Media Measurement can provide real-time analysis for any clients in a crisis situation. This information can be disseminated either by our traditional reports or on our interactive portal - MMLInsight.
